Welcome to Hotelgift! These terms and conditions are here to help you understand how our services work. We occasionally update them, so please check back from time to time. By using our website or services, you confirm that you’ve read and agreed to everything below. 1. 14-Day Gift Money-Back Guarantee We want you to feel confident about your gift purchase, which is why Hotelgift offers a 14-day money-back guarantee on consumer gift orders (excluding B2B orders that begin with order number "HC-B"). If your Hotelgift code has not been redeemed (even partially), is not being used for a pending booking, and your consumer order was placed on Hotelgift.com or Experiencegift.com, you can request a refund within 14 days of purchase. To request a refund, the gift buyer needs to email us at support@hotelgift.com. Refunds will be processed back to the original payment method. Please note that, regardless of when the gift is given, we can only offer refunds within 14 days of purchase and only if the gift has not been used in full or in part. 2. Validity of Your Hotelgift - Purchased at Hotelgift.com: All Hotelgifts are valid for two years. - Purchased elsewhere: Hotelgifts purchased from other sellers may have different expiration dates—please check carefully before purchasing. 3. How Hotelgift Facilitates Your Booking Through our website, www.hotelgift.com, we provide an online platform for booking hotel stays. From the point at which you make your booking, Hotelgift acts solely as an intermediary between you and the hotel, on behalf of the hotel, as Hotelgift does not sell stays under its own name. Hotelgift sends your booking details to the hotel and then emails you a confirmation on their behalf. Hotelgift handles all transactions made on www.hotelgift.com, including any payment-related issues. If you experience any problems or have questions, comments, or concerns about your transaction, please contact us directly. 4. Accuracy of Hotel Information Provided The information we provide is based on details given to us by hotels. While we make every effort to ensure our services are accurate and reliable, we cannot verify or guarantee that all information is complete or error-free. This includes potential inaccuracies, interruptions (due to temporary issues, maintenance, or upgrades), or incorrect or incomplete information. We appreciate your understanding that we cannot be held responsible for these issues. 5. Payment and Business Orders - Payment: Payments are required at the time of ordering and can be made using Visa, MasterCard, or available local payment methods. All payment processes are secure. It takes 24 hours to process and validate the gift payment, after which your gift card code will be ready for use. If payment is not completed or if there are issues with the transaction, we reserve the right to deactivate the Hotelgift. Likewise, if bookings are made with an unpaid or invalid Hotelgift code, those bookings may be canceled. - VAT: Prices include VAT and other applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Hotelgift cards themselves are not subject to VAT. - Business Orders: Businesses can choose to pay immediately (bank payment options are available in some countries) or pay later via invoice. Orders paid by invoice will be activated only once the payment has been received. For questions or special requests, please reach out to us—we’re happy to help. 6. Redeeming a Hotelgift - Booking Your Stay: Hotelgifts can be used for hotel stays available on our website. They can’t be redeemed directly with the hotel. If your booking costs more than your gift card, you can pay the difference online. If you don’t use the full value, the remaining balance stays valid for future bookings. - Booking Details: Please make sure all guest names match their identification documents exactly. Ensure that the booking information is accurate to avoid issues at check-in. - Booking Extras: Bookings do not include additional services (e.g., breakfast, parking, or special requests) unless explicitly specified. However, you can arrange these services directly with the hotel after booking, if permitted by the hotel. - Booking Confirmation: Once you’ve booked, you’ll receive a confirmation email. Please bring a printed copy of your booking confirmation along with your ID for check-in. - Note: Hotelgifts cannot be redeemed for cash. 7. Canceling or Modifying a Booking - Cancelation: Hotelgift maintains a fully transparent refund policy. If a hotel issues a refund, any refund provided will be fully passed on to you. Once the hotel processes the refund, we will return the gift value to your gift card code and refund any extra payment made to the original payment method within three business days. Please note that the entire refund process may take up to 30 days from the date of cancelation. - Changes: You can make changes directly with the hotel (if allowed), or we can help if modifications through the hotel aren’t possible. Please be aware change fees may apply. - No-shows: No refunds are available for missed stays ("no-shows"). 8. Hotel Complaints Hotelgift is not liable for any complaints about the stay or the hotel’s services. We recommend contacting the hotel directly for stay-related issues. 9. Follow-Up Correspondence By making a booking or purchasing a Hotelgift, you agree to receive: 1. An email before your stay with useful information about your destination. 2. A follow-up email afterwards, inviting you to share your feedback. 10. Your Privacy and Cookies We value your privacy. We never share your gift card usage data—ever. Not on an individual basis, nor in an aggregated form. For more details, please see Privacy and Cookies in the footer of the website. 11. Intellectual Property All content on our website, unless stated otherwise, is owned by Hotelgift. You may not use or reproduce any part of the site without our written permission. 12. Disclaimer While we do our best to provide an excellent service, please understand that Hotelgift is not responsible for: - Any damages, losses, or issues resulting from the use of our services. - Inaccuracies or errors in the information provided by the hotels. - Issues caused by force majeure, such as strikes or other events beyond our control. We always strive to be as accurate as possible and to offer the best experience to our users. 13.
