These terms and conditions, which may be amended from time to time, apply to all Hotelgift services directly or indirectly made available online, through any device, or by email. By using the Hotelgift website or any other platform, you acknowledge and agree to have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions set out below.
1. Scope and Role of Hotelgift
From the point at which you make your booking, Hotelgift acts solely as an intermediary between you and the hotel, on behalf of the hotel as Hotelgift does not sell bookings under its own name. Hotelgift transmits the details of your booking to the relevant hotel and sends you a confirmation email on behalf of the hotel.
Hotelgift is responsible for the transaction process on www.hotelgift.com. As such, Hotelgift manages transaction disputes should payment process issues occur. In addition, if there are any questions, remarks, or complaints about the transaction, please contact us directly.
2. Reliance on Third Party Information and Services
When rendering our services, the information that we disclose is based on the information provided to us by the hotels. Although we will use reasonable skill and care in performing our services, we will not verify if, and cannot guarantee that, all information is accurate, complete, or correct, nor can we be held responsible for any errors (including manifest and typographical errors), any interruptions (whether due to any temporary and/or partial breakdown, repair, upgrade or maintenance of our website or otherwise), inaccurate, misleading or untrue information, or non-delivery of information.
3. Privacy and Cookies
The privacy of all Hotelgift users is respected. As a gift card user, you can rest assured that no gift card usage data of any kind is shared with anyone else, neither on an individual basis (i.e. one gift card) nor on an anonymized aggregated basis (i.e. multiple gift cards). 4. Payment and Prices
Payments are immediately due when ordering. Payments can be made by Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, and available local payment methods. All Hotelgift payment processes are properly secured. Payments (pending) cannot be amended or canceled. The processing of gift card transactions requires 24 hours. As such, the purchased gift card code can be redeemed after 24 hours.
All booking prices are displayed including VAT and other taxes unless stated differently on the Hotelgift website or in the confirmation email. The gift cards of Hotelgift are out of the scope of VAT.
Business orders are generally settled by invoice payment. Orders to be paid via invoice are sent within two business days. Please note that the Hotelgift cards will only be activated once the order payment has been made. Please contact us for questions or special requests.
5. Cancellation of a Gift Order
All Hotelgift value codes are bearer instruments. As Hotelgift value codes can be duplicated or shared with third parties after the sale, and hence be redeemed by any third party, order cancellation is not possible.
6. Validity of an Hotelgift
All Hotelgift cards are valid for two years after purchase.
Hotelgift reserves the right to block/deactivate any gift card of which the payment has been canceled or not received in any way. In case one or more bookings have been made with an Hotelgift card that has not been paid for fully, Hotelgift reserves the right to cancel these bookings.
7. Redeem a Hotelgift
Hotelgifts are redeemable for all hotels that show availability on www.hotelgift.com for the selected dates and destination. It is not possible to make your booking and redeem your Hotelgift directly with the hotel. When making a booking, the gift card value will be deducted from the amount payable. If the Hotelgift is not used in full at once, the remainder stays valid for another booking. If the booking is more expensive than the gift card, the remainder can be paid for by online payment. One Hotelgift can be used per booking.
If the booking name includes a middle name or a middle initial, please add it to the first name(s) field. Please always enter the full last name(s). All names need to be entered exactly as in the passport.
After the payment and/or redemption of the Hotelgift, you will receive the booking confirmation via email. You can then print this booking confirmation when redeeming the experience. Make sure to have your identification with you.
It is not possible to redeem your Hotelgift card for funds or cash payments.
8. Cancel or Modify a Booking
Hotelgift is 100% transparent in its refund policy: if the hotel provides a refund, then this refund is credited to the customer’s gift card within 48 hours after Hotelgift received the refund from the hotel. Please note that any refund procedure can take up to 30 days from the moment that the booking has been canceled. The total refund value of the booking (i.e. including potential additional payment) is loaded on the gift card that was used to make the booking.
Booking modifications can be made through the Hotelgift Support Team as per the hotel’s rules/approval.
In the case of a no-show (i.e. remaining absent from the booking), there will be no refund.
9. Booking Complaints
Hotelgift is not liable for any claims or complaints about the hotel, please contact the hotel directly to discuss and resolve potential issues.
10. Further Correspondence
By completing a booking or by ordering an Hotelgift card, you agree to receive (i) an email that we may send to you prior to your booking date with information on your destination and reservation and (ii) an email which we may send to you after your trip or Hotelgift order inviting you to complete a feedback form.
11. Intellectual Property
Unless stated otherwise, the intellectual property rights (including the copyrights) of the content, material, and information on this website is property of Hotelgift. Without Hotelgift’s written consent, no part of this website may be used or reproduced.
Subject to the limitations set out in these terms and conditions and to the extent permitted by law, Hotelgift shall not be held liable for (i) any punitive, special, direct, or indirect or consequential loss or damages, any loss of production, loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of contract, loss of or damage to goodwill or reputation, loss of claim, (ii) any inaccuracy relating to the (descriptive) information (including rates, availability, and ratings) of the booking as made available on our website, (iii) the services rendered, or the products offered by the hotel, (iv) any (direct, indirect, consequential or punitive) damages, losses, or costs suffered, incurred, or paid by you, pursuant to, arising out of or in connection with the use, inability to use or delay of our website, or (v) for any (personal) injury, death, property damage, or other (direct, indirect, special, consequential, or punitive) damages, losses, or costs suffered, incurred, or paid by you, whether due to (legal) acts, errors, breaches, (gross) negligence, wilful misconduct, omissions, non-performance, misrepresentations, tort or strict liability by or (wholly or partly) attributable to the booking (its employees, directors, officers, agents, representatives, or affiliated companies), including any (partial) cancellation, overbooking, strike, force majeure, or any other event beyond our control.

Hotelgift is part of Experiencegift B.V., a private limited liability company incorporated under the laws of the Netherlands, registered with the trade register under registration number 59310685. We are located at Herengracht 493, Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
Hotelgift is part of Experiencegift Ltd., a private limited liability company incorporated under the laws of the United Kingdom, registered with the trade register under registration number 13252343. We are located at 207 Regent Street, 3rd Floor, London, W1B 3HH, United Kingdom.
