5 Must Visit Places for Your US Adventure
We have planned the most amazing US Adventure for you! Inspired by Bring Me, we have picked out 5 absolute must-visit locations across the states.
Travelling around America is great if you are longing for some beautiful nature and gorgeous sights. We have selected 5 of our favourite locations for you to see the best views in the country.
Mendenhall Glacier Ice Caves, Alaska
First and foremost are the beautiful ice caves in Alaska. These caves have been formed as water flowing through them iced up creating a passageway of ice. What makes them different from other rock caves is that they change all the time. It is best to see them over winter when they are perfectly formed before they disappear in spring. Mendenhall Glacier has a massive body stretching over 10 miles. Join one of their excursions to make most of your trip to this iconic destination.
Carlsbad Caverns, New Mexico
Away from the ice, you can find rocky peaks of the Guadalupe Mountains. You can find them right by the Texas/New Mexico border. They rise all the way up to 8,749 feet and feature some of the oldest cave systems in the world such as Carlsbad Caverns. Find yourself hiking through breathtaking underground chambers of these caves filled with unique formations of various shapes and colours.
Napali Coast, State Wilderness Park, Hawaii
Napali Coast is another location for you to get the best view of the surroundings. The cliffs of the park go as high as 4,000 feet above the Pacific Ocean. This is a perfect location for all those who love a good hike. If you manage to get all the way to the top, you will be exposed to the landscape views of valleys, cliffs and the ocean surrounding this wilderness park.
Thor’s Well, Oregon
Tired of the mountain peaks? Then you should go visit this spot to see an all natural sinking hole. While it looks big and scary, it is in fact only about 20 feet deep. Nevertheless, it is an amazing sight to see, and you will definitely not find anything like it anywhere else. Just make sure to bring your camera with you!
Skagit Valley Tulip Festival, Washington
If you are into flowers then this is a must! It is hard to see sights like this around the world, so be sure to check out this Tulip Festival in Washington while you’re visiting the states. Every year it is held in spring between 1st-30th of April. There you will be able to see tulips of every kind, colour and form. The most picturesque spot for a picnic you will find!
